I started playing with audio early on.

The gift of a Soundesign cassette recorder on Christmas 1977 changed my life. I recorded so much with that machine.

My first audio production was called “Gone With the Water”. The plot? I flushed my sister down the toilet, complete with sound effects and dramatic voiceover. Sadly, the audio is lost to time.

It’s all flowed from there.

In 1986, I graduated from UT Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-TV Production.

That same year, I started in radio at my hometown station, KPXI Mount Pleasant, TX. The production room became my home thanks to a Tascam 4-track cassette deck. Multi-track production! I felt like it was the big time.

I worked at a few radio stations in Midland/ Odessa, TX.

Then in 1997, started working for the K-LOVE radio network, where I've worked in audio production ever since.

I still love playing with audio and designing sound.
